Concept Art
I received a packet of concept art that is 96 pages long. I am writing short descriptions of each page and some speculation on what is happening. I may be wrong. Some pages I consider to be important will be scanned in and linked to here for you to see.

from the castle layout page, I gather that this is the "private room" beyond reception. Several ponies gather around a very long table beneath a very, very large machine that reaches to the ceiling.

K appears to be talking as SW and SD look on in wonder. The 3D image above the book is now a valley with a high peak in the center. (It is hard to describe, but I posted this picture so you can see.) Creatures that may be ponies are in a hot air balloon headed for the mountain's summit.

30 PP lays on a mushroom-thing looking sad in what must be the forest/jungle. A very cartoonish butterfly lands on her nose.

31 It looks like PP is trying to play leapfrog with the butterfly but landed on it. I think the butterfly may have been trying to cheer her up.

PP heads toward Cotton Candy Cafe which is exploding again. Trixie is vacuuming outside. The Butterfly gets sucked into vacuum. Inset of butterfly coughing in dust in vac bag. Smaller inset of butterfly peeking through vent in vac.

35 Cotton Candy Cafe interior PP is walking in. Distressed ponies look around as dust settles. Trixie is repairing the oven with a wrench in the background.

36 PP sits in front of counter as SB pushes giant cookie-thing towards her. Close-up of cookie split into thirds. (This looks similar to the "all for one and one for all" cookie thing, except PP is lonely and sad)

37 Castle Private Room interior SW and SD draw on a hot-air balloon model that looks like a pony's head and laugh. K looks at them and frowns. (They may be making fun of PP)

38 Two ponies sit alongside the long table. One pony is at the head of the table below the machine and in front of the book.

40 Ponies fly toward castle in butterfly-shaped hot air balloon. Castle still has stage and tables with food out front. There is a balloon landing pad on the side of the road opposite the stage. A large pipe opening in a flower shape above the drawbridge sprays what may be liquid on it. (Could be anything from water to magic rainbow light. I can't tell.) A rainbow forms over the spray.

41 Interior of what is probably the CCC. PP sits in front of the counter drinking something frothy through a straw. Empty cups and straws are strewn about. SB looks worried on the other side of the counter. Ponies at tables in the background are looking at the scene.

42 Butterfly sits on top of the dust pile in the vac. It is in a ray of light coming from the vent. Inset of butterfly crying.

43 SW and SD lie on the floor and look at a map. K is speaking to them. Smaller picture of K glaring while one of the two waves the rolled-up map at her. SW and SD are smiling and the one waving the map is speaking.

44 PP sits on the floor of the CCC. She looks sad and has stuff all over her mouth, presumably from the stuff she was drinking earlier. SB has her hoofs on PPs shoulders and looks worried. She is speaking.

45 Outside. The street lamp is glowing. PP opens the vac, releasing the butterfly. She walks off and it flies off with her.

Ponyville streets. Night. PP walks past shop windows, hanging her head. The butterfly flies around her.

47 PP looks into a shop window that has a display with pony mannequins modeling hats.

49 SD PP and SW are soaring through the sky, wearing the hats from the display. (This must be a fantasy of PPs.)

50 A pony washes the shop window. PP looks confused. She and the butterfly walk/fly off.

51 Reception. SB SW RD SD W work on the model of the castle. RD walks over to the desk where PD is sitting. RD is speaking, PD looks worried.

53 SD and SW watch RD push the model castle wall, and an arrow shows that it tips over backwards and falls down.

PP sits on the ground outdoors. She is wearing a hat made with flowers, among other things. She is holding a tiny pony made of wood. There is a model of what looks like the castle and balloon on a landing pad. The castle is made from an anthill, and the ants are crawling all over it. The butterfly looks at it sadly from it's perch on top.

"PP: Its not fair! I wanna be a Grand Poo Pah.
(all the ants work together gives pinkie new attitude.)"

56 PP runs into the Cotton Candy Cafe
Trixie chases her runaway vacuum that is about to suck up the butterfly, which is frantically trying to escape.

Messy cakes sit in huge mess. M stares at the cakes. SB looks worried (she wears a chef's hat.) PP points at the cakes with a confident look. (Cakes labeled C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4)
Note:
"PP: Why not just take the bottom sections of all the cakes'
SB: That just might work. Thanks Pinky.
M: The Frosting should be green. etc."

PP (or PD?) runs along the street, with the butterfly clinging to her tail. Trixie looks surprised as her vacuum races after them.
Note:
"BF's narrow escape as TF tries to get control of vacume"

59 Garden with topiaries and balloon in the background. Hedge arch has a sign that says: "Balloon Station."
SW and SD come from balloon station and exit left. PP and Butterfly come racing up.
Note:
"SW and SD exit before Pinkie arrives.
SW: Well thats the best we can do
SD: If Pinkie were here it'd look much better
SW: I guess she's got more important things to do."

60 PP and the butterfly look at the hot-air balloon.

63 Two ponies walk toward balloon. "ZZZ"s are coming from balloon basket.

64 SD and SW stand below the balloon in utter shock. The balloon now looks like a beautiful butterfly.

65 Balloon flies away, its rope ties trailing behind it. Pinkie is in the basket, sleeping. The butterfly flies frantically around her. Two ponies watch in dismay from the landing pad far below.

66 Landing pad edge: the two ponies watch the balloon fly away. Butterfly talks to SW and SD.

Butterfly pulls Pinkie's eyelids waaaay out. Sleepy Pinkie looks at butterfly from under half closed lids. Pinkie and butterfly look over balloon basket edge. Pinkie looks horrified.

"Wake up!"

68 Balloon careens high into the clouds and heads toward a mountain range. Pinkie and butterfly hold on for dear life.
Note:
"PP[:] we need to get the balloon back! P.P.[:] I cant get control of her, the winds too strong"

69 Cliff. We move in toward a silhouette. It is a small pony-shape in a flower under a spider web falling from a flower on a tree branch.

70 Different shots of plants growing high on a cliff top, topped by a Heart. The plants are covered in flower buds. Looks like a tree.

71 Hourglass filled with blue, red, and yellow liquid. Pipes and towers filled with liquid. Ponies in hard hats work.

72 Castle exterior. SB is pushing catering tray. SD and SW are wearing hats and looking at different ponies. W looks at flowers RD stands on the castle draw bridge. Various ponies mill about. Ponies in hard hats work on pipe on castle wall that leads to a huge flower that is suspended above RD.

73 R, with a huge hairdo in the shape of a balloon, talks to SD and SW, who look worried.
SW and SD sit back to back, surrounded by ponies asking questions.

"R: This is my ballon arrival dew
SW: Being Grand Pooh-Pah isn't easy
R: Aren't you suppose to be on your way

Various ponies:
Are the ballons bright enough
How do you spell, swell
Is the Jello jellied?
Are the Florals adorable?

74 PP and butterfly soar further into clouds.
SW and SD walk along a trail towards some mountains. They have packs slung over their backs. There is a pickaxe sticking out of one of them.

75 SW and SD sit in rain with a broken umbrella, looking at a map. While following a trail, they encounter a skunk, get up to their necks in a large puddle, and then walk over a hill.

76 PP flies toward a pony-made structure. She then flies over jagged peaks, and crashes.

77 PP climbs up toward the cliff edge where the structure is. She and the butterfly move toward it. It is a canopy topped by a heart sheltering a cave entrance. She hops across stepping stones and reaches the opening.

78 Cave interrior. PP and butterfly walk along a winding path suspended over water? Lava?
They reach a table behind which K sits.

79 PP and butterfly watch as K struts. PP, with a stack of books on her head, hops along from stepping peak to stepping peak suspended over the water. She hops off a cliff and flies with the aid of a flower-copter thing attatched to her waist.

80 K, BF and PP emerge from cave entrance and PP pushes a boulder off a tree that is bent to the ground. Her balloon is collapsed on top of the tree, and when it springs upright the balloon is righted. PP and BF get onboard.

81 Balloon zooms through clouds. PP stands at balloon's bow with her front hooves on the railing in a "King of the World" type pose. She is smiling and the BF perches on her head. PP spots a sparkly rainbow and they fly by it.

82 SW and SD accidentally rip the map, and it blows away. Just as SW catches part of it and the rest blows off a cliff, the two ponies are swept over the cliff and zoom along a water slide.

83 The two ponies look over a cliff at a silhouetted figure in a flower, under a spider web hanging from a flower.

84 Close-up of the distinctly pony-shapped small silhouette.

85 One of the two ponies lays next to an opened flower. Inside it: a sleepy-looking BABY PONY!!!!!

86 PP and BF fly around a tree toping a peak. It has a single flower on its top.

87 PP on the bow of the balloon zooms into the tree, and sees a flower garland hanging from the flower at the tree's top.

88 SW drags the sleeping baby on a litter made of a giant leaf. It has another leaf acting as a canopy to protect the baby from the rain. SW trudges toward SD who runs under a tree. Under the tree, SD holds a flower garland of butterfly-shaped flowers. SW has the baby on her back sheltered by a leaf. The baby opens her sleepy eyes and looks at the garland.
Note:
"Do you like it? Do you want to be called ----?"

Baby still on SW's back chews happily on the garland.

SW: she's eating it"
Suddenly, the part of the cliff where they are standing breaks off and goes sliding down the mountain. The older ponies are horrified and the baby laughs. Some vines stop them. One of the two adults hangs off the edge of the piece of cliff.

90 The piece of cliff is suspended over space by the vines. The adult hanging off the edge is still in the same situation. The other adult is holding the giggling baby by a single hoof while the baby dangles over space.
They are now all on the piece of cliff (must have pulled each other up), but it drops several feet. It remains suspended by the vines.

Birds are flying through clouds carying a large rainbow.
Workers labor on the pipes.
We see the hourglass.
SB and K look concerned.
Note:
"Kimono time is running out"

CC looks up.
Note:
"Its the balloon!"

RD looks up.
Note:
"RD: No, it's my rainbow!"

"(Back at the castle) (Panic sets in)"

SD, SW and the baby are still on the piece of cliff that is hanging by vines.

We can see a butterfly-shaped balloon in the distance.

The butterfly looks on as PP is pulling the ponies into the safety of the balloon's basket.

SD and baby are safely in the balloon's basket, and PP is holing on to SW as the vines snap and the cliff piece falls.

Safely in the basket, PP holds up the garland she found for all to see. It has a butterfly on it. SD, SW and the baby marvel. (*GLOW, sparkle, sparkle.*)

The balloon sails off into the clouds.

94 WIDE shot of castle front. Ponies form a crowd in front of the castle, and are basically everywhere. Adult (probably K) stands in front of baby on the castle drawbridge below the giant flower, which is closed and bloated. Strings are tied to where it would open, and a pony on top of the wall holds the other end.
SW, SD, PP and BF exit the hot air balloon and step onto the landing pad..

95 Closed, bloated flower is twitching. The strings are pulled, and it opens wide, directly onto the smiling pony baby, who wears a charm around her neck and has magical stars swirling around her. Three ponies look on, smiling. The Butterfly flys around the baby.

Magical sparkly stuff dumps from the flower onto the baby and the butterfly. A rainbow forms.

96 * Sparkles surround the butterfly and baby. * * The butterfly is in a mini magic whirlwind. * The baby stands as the magic swirls around her.* **

**The butterfly is pretty and sparkly, and it happily looks at the pony.*

60	PP and the butterfly look at the hot-air balloon. Note: "PP: They didnt even ask for help on the balloon. They know thats my thing."

62	Butterfly sits on Pinkie's nose and Pinkie looks happy. Pinkie and butterfly grab a ribbon. Pinkie saws a board as butterfly carries ribbon swag. Note: "'Get busy'"
63	Two ponies walk toward balloon. "ZZZ"s are coming from balloon basket.
64	SD and SW stand below the balloon in utter shock. The balloon now looks like a beautiful butterfly.
65	Balloon flies away, its rope ties trailing behind it. Pinkie is in the basket, sleeping. The butterfly flies frantically around her. Two ponies watch in dismay from the landing pad far below.
66	Landing pad edge: the two ponies watch the balloon fly away. Butterfly talks to SW and SD.
67	Butterfly pulls Pinkie's eyelids waaaay out. Sleepy Pinkie looks at butterfly from under half closed lids. Pinkie and butterfly look over balloon basket edge. Pinkie looks horrified. Note: "Wake up!"
68	Balloon careens high into the clouds and heads toward a mountain range. Pinkie and butterfly hold on for dear life. Note: "PP[:] we need to get the balloon back! P.P.[:] I cant get control of her, the winds too strong"
69	Cliff. We move in toward a silhouette. It is a small pony-shape in a flower under a spider web falling from a flower on a tree branch.
70	Different shots of plants growing high on a cliff top, topped by a Heart. The plants are covered in flower buds. Looks like a tree.
71	Hourglass filled with blue, red, and yellow liquid. Pipes and towers filled with liquid. Ponies in hard hats work. Note: "Red coming on stron"
72	Castle exterior. SB is pushing catering tray. SD and SW are wearing hats and looking at different ponies. W looks at flowers RD stands on the castle draw bridge. Various ponies mill about. Ponies in hard hats work on pipe on castle wall that leads to a huge flower that is suspended above RD.
73	R, with a huge hairdo in the shape of a balloon, talks to SD and SW, who look worried. SW and SD sit back to back, surrounded by ponies asking questions. Note: "R: This is my ballon arrival dew SW: Being Grand Pooh-Pah isn't easy R: Aren't you suppose to be on your way Various ponies: Are the ballons bright enough How do you spell, swell Is the Jello jellied? Are the Florals adorable? I need a decision on the ribbon Is the candy dandy?"
74	PP and butterfly soar further into clouds. SW and SD walk along a trail towards some mountains. They have packs slung over their backs. There is a pickaxe sticking out of one of them.
75	SW and SD sit in rain with a broken umbrella, looking at a map. While following a trail, they encounter a skunk, get up to their necks in a large puddle, and then walk over a hill.
76	PP flies toward a pony-made structure. She then flies over jagged peaks, and crashes.
77	PP climbs up toward the cliff edge where the structure is. She and the butterfly move toward it. It is a canopy topped by a heart sheltering a cave entrance. She hops across stepping stones and reaches the opening.
78	Cave interrior. PP and butterfly walk along a winding path suspended over water? Lava? They reach a table behind which K sits.
79	PP and butterfly watch as K struts. PP, with a stack of books on her head, hops along from stepping peak to stepping peak suspended over the water. She hops off a cliff and flies with the aid of a flower-copter thing attatched to her waist.
80	K, BF and PP emerge from cave entrance and PP pushes a boulder off a tree that is bent to the ground. Her balloon is collapsed on top of the tree, and when it springs upright the balloon is righted. PP and BF get onboard.
81	Balloon zooms through clouds. PP stands at balloon's bow with her front hooves on the railing in a "King of the World" type pose. She is smiling and the BF perches on her head. PP spots a sparkly rainbow and they fly by it.
82	SW and SD accidentally rip the map, and it blows away. Just as SW catches part of it and the rest blows off a cliff, the two ponies are swept over the cliff and zoom along a water slide.
83	The two ponies look over a cliff at a silhouetted figure in a flower, under a spider web hanging from a flower.
84	Close-up of the distinctly pony-shapped small silhouette.
85	One of the two ponies lays next to an opened flower. Inside it: a sleepy-looking BABY PONY!!!!!
86	PP and BF fly around a tree toping a peak. It has a single flower on its top.
87	PP on the bow of the balloon zooms into the tree, and sees a flower garland hanging from the flower at the tree's top.
88	SW drags the sleeping baby on a litter made of a giant leaf. It has another leaf acting as a canopy to protect the baby from the rain. SW trudges toward SD who runs under a tree. Under the tree, SD holds a flower garland of butterfly-shaped flowers. SW has the baby on her back sheltered by a leaf. The baby opens her sleepy eyes and looks at the garland. Note: "Do you like it? Do you want to be called ----?"
89	Baby still on SW's back chews happily on the garland. Note: "SD: She likes it SW: she's eating it" Suddenly, the part of the cliff where they are standing breaks off and goes sliding down the mountain. The older ponies are horrified and the baby laughs. Some vines stop them. One of the two adults hangs off the edge of the piece of cliff.
90	The piece of cliff is suspended over space by the vines. The adult hanging off the edge is still in the same situation. The other adult is holding the giggling baby by a single hoof while the baby dangles over space. They are now all on the piece of cliff (must have pulled each other up), but it drops several feet. It remains suspended by the vines.
91	Birds are flying through clouds carying a large rainbow. Workers labor on the pipes. We see the hourglass. SB and K look concerned. Note: "Kimono time is running out" CC looks up. Note: "Its the balloon!" RD looks up. Note: "RD: No, it's my rainbow!" Note: "(Back at the castle) (Panic sets in)"
92	SD, SW and the baby are still on the piece of cliff that is hanging by vines. Note: "We've let everyone down" We can see a butterfly-shaped balloon in the distance. Note: "The Rescue" The butterfly looks on as PP is pulling the ponies into the safety of the balloon's basket.
93	SD and baby are safely in the balloon's basket, and PP is holing on to SW as the vines snap and the cliff piece falls. Safely in the basket, PP holds up the garland she found for all to see. It has a butterfly on it. SD, SW and the baby marvel. (GLOW, sparkle, sparkle.) Note: "The Charm SC." The balloon sails off into the clouds. Note: "Heading Home"
94	WIDE shot of castle front. Ponies form a crowd in front of the castle, and are basically everywhere. Adult (probably K) stands in front of baby on the castle drawbridge below the giant flower, which is closed and bloated. Strings are tied to where it would open, and a pony on top of the wall holds the other end. SW, SD, PP and BF exit the hot air balloon and step onto the landing pad..
95	Closed, bloated flower is twitching. The strings are pulled, and it opens wide, directly onto the smiling pony baby, who wears a charm around her neck and has magical stars swirling around her. Three ponies look on, smiling. The Butterfly flys around the baby. Magical sparkly stuff dumps from the flower onto the baby and the butterfly. A rainbow forms.
96	* Sparkles surround the butterfly and baby. * * The butterfly is in a mini magic whirlwind. * The baby stands as the magic swirls around her.* * *** * * ** * *The butterfly is pretty and sparkly, and it happily looks at the pony. * ** * * * * * ** * ** * * The baby looks older, more mature, and very pretty. * * * * ** * She has a butterfly symbol and a butterfly charm. * * ** * She glows. * THE END
